2007 Outer Ear Festival of Sound: Final Week

This marks the fourth and final week of 2007’s Outer Ear Festival of Sound.  We hope you all enjoyed Electrical Walk: Chicago by Christina Kubisch.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

The Peter Brötzmann Chicago Tentet will be making multiple appearances around town this week, including a performance at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday, December 1.  Members of the Tentet will host a series of Improvised Music Workshops at ESS this Sunday, December 2nd.  Visit our Workshops page for more information - space is limited and the sessions are nearly full!

And don’t forget two ongoing installations as part of The Outer Ear Festival of Sound: Fred Lonberg-Holm’s photo-sound-esis I at the Lincoln Park Conservatory and Rebecca Kressley’s Five Girls… at Audible Gallery.

Improvised Music Workshops @ ESS

Three workshops conducted by members of the Peter Brotzmann Chicago Tentet.  Session one with Paal Nilssen-Love & Ken Vandermark, session two with Mats Gustafsson & Michael Zerang, and session three with Per-Ake Holmlander & Fred Lonberg-Holm.
