Experimental Sound Studio is happy to announce the extension of
photo-sound-esis I, a sound installation by Fred Lonberg-Holm at Lincoln Park
Conservatory. Originally scheduled to end this month, the piece will remain in
place through April 6, 2008.
photo-sound-esis I is presented by ESS as part of its ongoing Florasonic sound
installation series at Lincoln Park Conservatory. The conservatory is located
at 2391 N. Stockton Drive, and is open every day 9AM-5PM free of charge.
Online payments are now accepted for the 2008 Spring Workshop Series. Beginning March 8th, ESS will host workshops from Introduction to Pro-Tools and a Microphone Workshop, to Mixing in a Digital Environment, to Introduction to Max/MSP. Annual memberships and charitable donations are also now accepted online.
Thanks for all of the interest in this past weekend’s performance of Confusion by Jeff Abell. We all truly appreciated the enthusiasm and support, and apologize to those who could not get seats. Clarity, Jeff’s installation of photographs and sound work, will be on display at Audible Gallery through March 9th.
This is the last week that the Crosscut library will be open to the public at ESS. If you wish to make an appointment to view the library before the 15th, please call 773-769-1069. Applications are due Monday, February 25th, and all pertinent details are available on the Crosscut page. Crosscut is a collaborative effort with Links Hall.
The Spring 2008 Workshops have been announced. Beginning next month, ESS will host weekend workshops ranging from Introduction to Pro-Tools and Microphones, to Mixing in a Digital Environment, to Introduction to Max/MSP. Reservations can be made by calling the studio at 773-769-1069 or by emailing jonathan@exsost.org. All information can be found on the Workshops page - online payment is coming soon.
