Sounds of the city

The Exquisite City reopens for a three-month run at the Chicago Tourism Center on January 15. The monumental exhibition is the collective work of over 70 artists, each contributing a cardboard representation of one block, neighborhood or distinctive locale in Chicago. Selections from ESS’s Favorite Chicago Sounds playing in the space complete the experience. The first presentation of The Exquisite City at the Viaduct Theater was a huge success; we’d like to congratulate curator Kathleen Judge and all the artists on the extended installation at the Tourism Center.
