It’s been an exciting week at ESS. A power outage during last week’s unusually violent storm caused our sump pump to temporarily fail. The deluge made it’s way into the basement but, thanks to the quick work of our staff and volunteers, no lasting damage occurred to anything. The archive recordings and studio B equipment are safe; some boxes and labels from the Malachi’s collection were wet, but the recordings remained intact and undamaged. Now we’re getting down to a little unexpected spring cleaning…
