Crosscut 2008 Recipients Announced

Experimental Sound Studio and Links Hall are pleased to announce the recipients
of the second year of Crosscut grants. Crosscut is a partnership of the two
organizations, supporting new collaborations between local movement artists and
sound artists. Four new collaborations have been selected to each receive $5,000
awards:

  • Asimina Chremos and Fred Lonberg-Holm
  • Karen Christopher and Mark Booth
  • Rachel Damon and Dan Mohr
  • Jessi T Walsh and Patrick Scott

The deadline for the 2008 Artist Residency Program applications has now passed. Thank you to everyone who submitted - we will be reviewing the applications shortly.

Many thanks as well to those who participated in our spring workshops and all who visited photo-sound-esis I at Lincoln Park Conservatory.  Jeffrey Robinson will be the next artist participating in our Florasonic installations - his piece opens May 4 at Lincoln Park Conservatory.
